Take a bite! Widely known as Chikoo, Chickoo or Sapota, this fruit’s flesh is creamy white, sweet, and jelly-like when squeezed from the fruit. Unlike other fruits, the sweet and succulent sapota fruit is scooped out of the hard shell and blended. Traditionally it is used to make drinks and desserts. A Sapota smoothie or dessert makes a delicious treat for any day of the week!
Some produce may have a funny shape or maybe a little bruised but they are all fresh and absolutely good to eat.
